About ENSURE

ENSURE is a European Erasmus+ project supporting the upskilling of firefighters, first responders, search and rescue teams, trainers and emergency-response organisations. The project develops ESCO-aligned competence frameworks, practical learning resources and digital training pathways for complex disaster environments, including urban earthquakes and extended forest-fire operations.

Project Goals

Upgrade the ESCO 5411.1 firefighter skill set
Develop four new ESCO-aligned sub-profiles
Create scenario-based learning for earthquake and forest-fire response
Build OERs, a VLE and game-based learning tools
Strengthen European cooperation and community resilience
